6 months after starting to work this deal....Hello!
Lucky I had an open bay in my garage. Actually, I made sure there was an open bay....
Once I rounded up some help....OK what do you expect for beer and pizza ?

OK, I'll get this started and will continue to fill in the gaps as I have time. I'm going to be pretty busy the rest of then next 4-5 days....I apologize in advance if any of these pix are dupes, but this thread will give me a chance to organize and to tell the whole story, which believe it or not is actually pretty interesting.
As shown to me in their tomb....
I started to get a clue as to their size by the red chairs in the background. I would have loved to get the risers too, but it just wasn't in the cards...

Egads! Tomb robbers!.....
Happy New Papa.... Stay tuned. Plenty more to come....
One thing I am looking for is any information on the IPC, Simplex XL, Simplex W, etc.
I'm hoping to keep the whole set together for posterity's sake as a piece of living sonic history.
In the mean time I'm searching for more info....

Thanks for the great photos! The footprints are a hoot.
Nice shot of the crossover panel, too. I didn't get to see that on my visit. Also curious that the horn mounting diagram lists all 400Hz horns. 1004, 1504, 1804, 804. I thought what you had were 1005s, but maybe not?
I don't see the 400Hz horns up for sale much, are they rare?
Looking forward to more. Remember folks, he has THREE of these beauties.
Very nice Allan!
And................ thanks for sharing this journey w/me from nearly it's inception.
